If you stay within your means you will feel allot less stressed out and your marriage will be better because of it.
Tip #2: Have A Small Wedding
Do you really need 200 or 300 guests? Are you really that close to that many people? Are these people that you speak to on a regular bases? It’s highly unlikely that you need a guest list that large. Consider only having your closest family members and friends. These are the people who are there for you when things madder the most.
Tip #3: Watch For Extra Charges
Many vendors will add on extra fees. You need get these out in the open before you agree to anything or sign a contract. Were talking about things like cake cutting fees, transportation fees, and corkage fees. Ask lots of questions and read any contracts before you sign.
Tip #4: Control Your Emotions
For the bride her biggest problem will be her emotions. A good example of this is when you go to purchase your wedding dress. Most shops will bring out dresses that look amazing and go way beyond your budget. This is done on purpose. It’s to get you fantasizing over yourself in that dress. You can easily end up overspending because of your emotions.
Tip #5: Ask Them To Stay Within Your Budget
When you go into any shop always state what your budget is. Tell the person who is serving you to stay within your budget. This way they can’t force more expensive options on you.
