The first thing you have to keep in mind about the church is it’s restrictions. You have to find out what you can or can not do. Once that is out of the way you can decide where to go with decorations based on your own personal preference.
What Do You Want Your Guests To See?
What do you want your guests to see when they walk into the church? Do you want them to notice the bows and ribbons? Do you want them to see the beautiful flowers? How about your centerpieces?
To answer these questions you should take a good look at your church. What is the layout? How can you work with this layout? What colors will look best with the church and lighting?
Obviously, I can’t answer these questions for you. Every church is different and so are peoples tastes.
The Outside Of The Church
You may want to consider putting a few ribbons, bows, and flowers on the outside of the church. This can be done just at the doorway where people walk in.
Focus On Front
If your on a tight budget then you may want to put the most of your decorations towards the front of the church. This is the part of the wedding that people will be looking at the most.
Fake Rose Petals
For some cheap decorations you can sprinkle some fake rose petals down the aisles. Use silk because they are often cheaper then fresh.
Candles
Candles make for a really great cheap decoration. Candles can be purchased cheaply at a dollar store or at a place like Costco. How you use them will depend on the layout of the church. If it’s possible you can put a line of candles on the outside of where people are seated.
Plan your fantasy wedding on a budget. Avoid wedding scams and get the lowest prices on every part of your wedding. It’s simple, it works, is stress free, and makes planning your wedding fun.
